Contemporary Classic and an amazing car for the money.

Massive depreciation of this model affords the careful purchaser the opportunity to by a rare luxury cruiser at a rediculously affordable price. The optimum word being careful - full service history and a full inspection is essential but not necessarily from a main Citroen dealer.

The owners club is an amazing resource and will provide more advice than any main dealership could ever hope to and will help with all matters relating to maintainance, I drove mine into a Citroen dealership recently and they just scratched their heads and admitted they had never seen one before (0nly 900 imported) so I drove out and ended up at an independent garage who had worked on several, to sort out some minor faults at a reasonable price.

This car has the best suspension system in the word, shared by Rolls Royce and Maserati and is a beautifully styled saloon. You will not see any others driving by or parked up at Asda. I've had mine 12 months and it's not skipped a beat. It's 2.7 Jaguar engine is a trusted workhorse that pulls like a train and the auto gearbox is faultless. Mine does 48 MPG on a run and 29 average

The cream Italian vitelli leather interior and wool rugs on mine are gorgeous but totally impractical but i've banned eating drinking and grand kids to preserve them. Toys are endless and too many to list, zenon headlights that follow steering are amongst my favourites.

Downsides - Tax £460 a year, no bluetooth and sat nav is outdated (but I don't use the thing) Some parts are not available aftermarket and have to be ordered from France but you take the rough with the smooth. Genuinely can't think of owt else.

Be different - buy one and enjoy! A cracker will set you back 6 or 7 grand.
