A great value, classy and different Saloon.

Let's get the short comings out of the way - Main Dealer struggled with initial wiring loom problem but sorted eventually. I have had a problem with a high pressure suspension pipe, a big job performed by a local garage. Had to have new discs and pads on the rear and the electronic handbrake is a mistake, not gust on the C6 but most modern cars. Had an issue with the Diesel exhaust emission filter whilst away in Bristol on business - Citroen specialists Chandlers were brilliant and have since serviced the car.

I bought it with 15,000 on the clock and now I have taken that up to 60,000 miles and although it is not a cheap car to tax or run I am really pleased with the vehicle. When friends experience the ride they are really taken with the comfort and refinement. i have taken this to France many times and can get 120 bottles of wine in the boot, with the suspension and the engine it cruises beautifully. You can drive all day and not feel any discomfort, the spec is great and front wheel drive and the options on the suspension height and gearbox settings mean i have not had problems in winter and I am quite rural. In the last year I have had a towbar fitted and pull a big caravan without problems - just make sure the nose weight is not over 75kgs and have the jockey wheel down before applying the caravan brake or the suspension gets confused!.

I have had Mercedes and Audi in the past and unlike many would have you believe they do go wrong and cost quite a bit to repair. I have found some local garages that are good and know what they are doing which means my C6 is probably in my top 3 cars of all time.
