A car to avoid, terrible road noise, uncomfortable seats and ride. Worst buy.

Having read the best buy reviews I was expected something special. However it was soon clear that that the 3 series has some big drawbacks. The main issue is the awful road noise from the runflat tyres. Ride is pretty harsh. Have had seat fixed twice but still metal frame sticks through thin foam. Yes, you can throw throw the car round cormers at speed but it is quite unpleasant as a commuter car and it is not a relaxed cruiser. Boot access poor, cabin feels small. Economy and performance do not match stats. From statonery the auto lacks any punch, better pick-up at 50+ mph but feels weak at higher speed. Recommendation - try for a few weeks to experience the different character. However one to miss for the longer term. Condition based servicing is a joke after the first 20,000 miles. You are constantly returning to the dealers...
