disappointing
These cars are prone to injector failure when they get to about 3 years old. This seems to happen regardless of mileage or full audi service history. The biggest problem besides the expense is the safety aspect, when one injector fails the entire engine shuts down leaving you with no power and hardly any brakes and steering. You had better hope you are in the slow lane when this happens. Audi do not seem to care about this despite an ever increasing number of failures ( see forums ). At around £700 - £800 per injector replacement it's not cheap ! and don't expect just one injector to fail as the next one can happen at any time, it's just a ticking timebomb. Maybe it will take someone getting killed before Audi do something about this
