Solid car if a bit heavy

I fancied something sporty looking and had always wanted an Audi so I bought my Audi 2.0l TDI Sportline. Good points - despite having only 140 bhp it really can move very quickly when it has to. The ride, however, is harsh - especially on bad roads. The handling is very good - one notices this when one drives a car with much lighter steering. I find the car heavy to steer when going slowly - it should have speed sensitive power steering - but that's an extra on this car (as was cruise control). It looks very smart and gets admiring glances. It's not as economical as it might be; don't believe what the onboard computer says - it's between 10 and 20% out. Servicing is expensive but that only comes along every 18,000 miles. I have my car serviced by the Audi dealer in Bristol who is very good. But when parts go wrong they cost a lot to fix. One of my Parking sensors needs replacing - cost £300! Thank heavens I have an extended warranty although I do have to pay part of that sum. Apart from that it's very reliable - even when it snowed it always started although I found I couldn't get up the drive - smaller cars did! Front seats are excellent - passengers in the back tell me that it's not as comfortable as my Volvo S40 was. It's at its best on a curving road or on the motorway where it feels safe and like a much bigger car.
