2.5TDI Sport S-Line

The car is like my ex wife, I loved her through the good times but hate her now she has let me down.

I noticed the car was taking a little longer to turn over. A day later once the car had been started the ESP light came on the dashboard. I tried to give the car a forced run on a slight incline with a bit of a load on. in secone gear and and 3500 revs the car was holding back leaving black smoke coming from the exhausts. I moved into third gear and the same happened again. Within 10 minutes the engine management light was on and within a further 20 minutes the car would work at all. I was a little bemused as to why this was happening to an 06 reg audi with approx 44,000 miles on the clock. After a i diagnostic check by Audi i was told the fuel injection pump had failed and it cost me a nice £2,109.00. I bought an Audi so i wouldnt have to pay this sort of money at such a young age for the car.
