Speeding (mostly excl cameras) Vol 35 4 Dec 2005 (Forum)
Hi, I was caught speeding in France over the week-end (140 km/h instead of 90 km/h). I was not stopped by the police, just got caught by a flash camera. Does anyone know what could that lead to? I know that a new legilslation will be enforced by 2007 but until then, what should I expect? Thanks -

Odometer versus speedo 25 Apr 2005 (Forum)
In another topic it was mentioned that a speedo could have up to 10% error (ie 70 mph is actually 63 mph), but not the other way round. This leads me to think about how accurate are the odometers. Are these 100% accurate or do these have a built in error of reading like the speedo. Could this mean -
Steer clear of Manchester 5 Apr 2005 (Forum)
Excuse me if someone has picked up on this already but I couldn't believe my eyes when I read it. I've just got around to reading HJ's agony column in Saturday's Telegraph and he leads with some clown from Manchester who says he limits the use of the indicators in his Saab because he doesn't like -

Another whose fault... 25 Oct 2004 (Forum)
Just witnessed an accident in the car park at the supermarket (I did the good citizen role and acted as a formal witness). The question is whose fault would it be? A road leads onto the car park. There are no giveway markings. I think Car A (on the road into the car park) was driving too fast -

I have the ABS warning light coming on, if I switch the ignition off then on again the light may go out for a while. I have cleaned the reluctor rings but the symptoms remain. LRP to be phased out. 3 Dec 2003 (Forum)
Lead Replacement Petrol to be phased out. http://www.theaa.com/allaboutcars/fuel/LRP.html "LRP now (mid 2002) accounts for only 2.7% of total fuel sales, and forecourt managers will increasingly be tempted to switch pumps to more profitable products. Trends indicate that you won't be able -
Leaking diesel fuel injectors 20 Nov 2003 (Forum)
A straight answer to a straight question (?). Do leaking injectors lead to compression loss and presumably lower power output? This is a follow on question to an earlier query where my replacement engine 1905cc Citroen is an LS6 rather than a DB9, which is at least 10% less powerful. (Don't -
