Engine wont fire up on key start, battery good, turns over engine well, but it will start car easy when bump start car in just about 3 metres of road. Please can some one suggest some thing to help me over come problem.I have replaced ht leads and spark plugs. Thanks Les Crard

This might help....Is there a wire going to an electric connector screwed into the front of the engine block? Try taking the wire off and cleaning the electrical connectors before putting it back on again.
I have a 1994 Escort that refused to start. Called the AA and he fixed it in 5 minutes doing just that. Hope it helps.

Take off and clean up the earth strap terminals between the engine/gearbox and the chassis. Also the one that goes to the battery. Add vaceline.

Have you checked all the basics first dry plug leads,feed to coil pack,fuel supply ok, all sensors dry no damp??? just worth knowing before digging too deep. good luck.
