I was with somebody today who suddenley held up the Audi advert advert that appears on the first page of the Business Section of the Daily Telegraph, and commented that he thought that some readers will find it offensive.
Without ' leading the witnessess' does anybody else hold this view? (Best viewed from a distance).
I will explain later if anybody questions this.

Too subtle for me - but that's nothing new.
Poor advert though - a teaser that doesn't really hook you at all, unless you are the type that wears Audi clothing perhaps.

The print of the tread pattern (the block below the " vorsprung durch technik") bears an uncanny resemblence to the well known SS Isignia (Sig runes). It would be interesting to know if this is a pure accident and if the same advert is being run throughout europe, as the recognition would probably be greater in Germany.
