  I have a 10 year old Smart Forfour that has done 63000 miles. When in automatic mode, in 6th gear, travelling at around 60mph, it regularly tries to change down to 5th, hesitates, but then continues in 6th.  This is particularly bad in wet weather, when travelling

  We have a 1.9 dci Scenic 2004 - Ocassionaly the automatic handbrake doesn't release on driving off. So far, this has only happened when my wife is driving alone. It has never happened to me. Is she doing something wrong? Or is this a common problem?

  Okay - people I ask all disagree! Should an automatic be shifted into neutral when at traffic lights etc? I do, because I think I'm doing my wallet a favour but is this true or can I just leave it in drive all the time... Thanks if anyone genuinely knows (rather than guessing like me + friends)!

  I have a XK8 jaguar automatic. The car has just developed a fault, which is, when drive is engagaed, nothing happens then all of a sudden "bang" and it drives off. I thought it was short of hydraulic fluid, but Jaguar say's it is a sealed unit and cannot be topped up. Any help would be appreciated
