  Wife's 1998 1.25 Fiesta (32000) started misfiring and ground to a halt. Wouldn't start thereafter. AA towed home and suggested crankshaft sensor. Couldn't get any indication at the coil of switching(?) . I'm not too familiar with current ignition systems save that nothing seems repairable

  took car out to town ,parked up,returned to car but it refused to start.8888 appeared on dash then returned to normal but car will not turn over.turn the key and nothing happens.any help as going nuts,checked fuses,diconnected battery then reconnected but still the same had to be towed

  followed a big camper van yesterday, instead of the usual smartcar or micra, this one was towing a trike.   Probably not. I had a car-tax renewal notice in the post yesterday starting "Dear customer." Hang on a minute! I'm not a customer! I'm a long suffering car owner who is threatened to have have my car towed away and crushed if I don't pay up. Jeeze! Customer? PAH!
