  Anyone know if it is at all possible to turn the passenger airbag off on an Merc ML320. Mercedes won't because they want to sell you an expensive baby seat that has a transponder in the base which automatically switches off the airbag.

  back brakes, rear discs. hyundai2009  i10  automatic, 73,000miles  .stuck on . when it cools down there ok.  Both sides the same .Handbrake seems fine. seems to be a regular fault on this model. any ideas on what the cause is

  Went to get tyre fitted to new spare wheel. Wanted to charge me for disposal of old tyre but pointed out no old tyre to dispose of. Sorry automatically charges. But adjusted price. Could not remove.

  Am looking for a good crossover possibly the Hondar CRV, Nissan Qashqai or the Mazda CX-5.  Must be automatic, 2L, petrol with roof rails, but can't seem to find a CRV wiith those exact specs.  Is it possibkle?

  Whilst I agree on the whole with HJ's fondness towards the good old fashioned torque converter automatic, being generally much more reliable than an equivalent automated manual such as DSG, PDK, Easytronic, I-Shift etc.. let's not forget there have been some real clangers made

  Hi, My 'other half' has got a '07 Ford Focus automatic with the conventional torque converter auto 'box. She's got an automatic-only license & does 25k a year (most days she's driving round the city all day so the automatic is a real benefit). It's due for replacement soon

  Checked I've not asked this before !  Seen two examples of A Class 2009-2012, different engine sizes 1500 and 1700 (manual cars)  Does the bigger engine justify expense ? Are the automatics for this car reliable ?   Thanks for any help.

  The sage wrote something about automatic gearboxes v/s manual.   I read it once and was impressed by the brevity, clarity and style of his writing.   I also remember that it was forthright.   Do any of the BRs have a clue as to where to find the text ?

  I've just read a report that BMW are to offer a new electronic package just for the UK;it disables indicators,the brakes,turns on main beam and foglights as soon as you start the the car and has automatic radar control allowing the vehicle to remain 1mm. behind your back bumper.
