Hi All Reading through my MX 5's owners manual tonight it's absolutely FULL of "CAUTION!" and "WARNING!" boxes with classics like; "Do not attempt to install the hardtop with the convertible top also up." "Standing in the vehicle...when it's moving is a dangerous way to ride. Sit in the seat -

Having sold my beloved Saxo VTR, and placed my burberry baseball cap at the back of the wardrobe, i need a more sensible and less chavtastic replacement. Ideally would have aircon, and a big enough boot for a weeks camping equipment. Ideas so far include: Citroen Xsara 1.8 (S plate) Audi A4 -
Vectra C SRi - Looking for quieter tyres 9 Jul 2004 (Forum)
to be an excellent all round tyre, but they are very noisy on certain surfaces.. Anyone know of a quieter alternative in the 215/50 17 sizes? I did try pirelli p6000's on the omega and they were pretty good, but not necessarily ideal. THanks SImon _____________________________________ -
Roundabout Etiquette 11 May 2004 (Forum)
, with a view to coming off onto the nearside lane to turn left immediately after the roundabout, I often find my way blocked by a driver who assumes that I\'ll go into the offside lane as I exit. They seem to be daring me to just barge into them. I assume this is just laziness/frustration, but it\'s annoying -

How best to sell Saab 900 18 Mar 2004 (Forum)
my neighbour is swapping her 1997 Saab 900 SE (I think, rather than just an S) for something a little large to accomodate her kids. This 97P has 49k and is an auto and is in *excellent* condition. She is getting a Renault Scenic and it seems that she has been offered £1500 as PX. I realise -

Corolla build quality+gearbox grind 18 Jan 2004 (Forum)
I?ve just purchased a Corolla, and it is booked in for a replacement bonnet as the existing one is incorrectly shaped at the edge giving an odd panel gap at the driver?s side wing junction. Part of the dash does not fit correctly (relatively minor). Is the build quality going down hill -

New road signs, M6 23 Oct 2003 (Forum)
New road signs seem to have popped up along the M6, at least between Knutsford and Stoke. They have a number on them, somewhere in the 200's range, and the number counts down (or up depending on direction) in 0.5 increments between signs. They are about 18"x12" atop a 3 foot pole, and is standard -
Prop shaft noise? Honda Civic 13 Oct 2003 (Forum)

driveshaft gaiters (CV boots) 20 Jul 2003 (Forum)
It may sound like a daft question, but is it possible to put a new gaiter on an outboard driveshaft joint WITHOUT dismatling the joint(s)? Current problem on the RHS driveshaft of a PUG205 1.8 diesel (88) but(same as GTI) this has an intermediate bearing between inner & outer joints. The manual -
Car Keying Vandalism 17 Jul 2003 (Forum)
IMHO 85 to 90% of the native British public are genuine decent people but the remaining 10 to 15% are social scum. I raise this issue after my son`s 330Ci was keyed in his local Tesco car park yesterday, and after working hard in a sressful job to buy his dream motor, he is naturally gutted. I -
