    has suggested it may have something to do with the air-con heater outlet beneath the seat. But if so, why would the problem not occur with other heater outlets? Any ideas appreciated.

    was completely honest with any faults (e.g. air con) and the fact that I've done the servicing for the last couple of years. The buyer told me how reliable Peugeot diesels are (conrods?) before handing over a big wad of £20s. Obviously not a backroomer.

    . If I put the ventilation system in recirc it stops it. The air con is off so I don't think it's coming from that. My local dealer (admittedly in France) is baffled and so am I Any suggestions as to the cause would be welcome Jules

    to get going when revs are up it is fine goes like a rocket  if I stop and turn of engine it will not start only after continues cranking and it will suddenly start up it did come right once after I switched air con  on and off but after swithing off it went back to loss of power

    My Astra 1.7dti suffered from a flat battery I started it using jump leads then when I disconnected the leads the car shut down. I've had the fuel pump ecu replaced a new alternator and battery, yet the EML is still illuminated apparently reading fan relay faults the air con isn't working either

    My garage recharged my aircon system for £70. They said it would take a few days to work through. Nothing changed so I took it back. They then said it had a leaking pipe and the air compressor wasn't working. They said thye couldnt have know these faults existed at the time they recharged
