Stuck my 306 on Autotrader website last Wednesday morning (same one that is still in classifieds - www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/index.htm?f=5&t=29...0 ). Sold for the asking price on Thursday night with 3 others wanting to come and see it on Friday / Saturday if it wasn't sold.
I was completely honest with any faults (e.g. air con) and the fact that I've done the servicing for the last couple of years. The buyer told me how reliable Peugeot diesels are (conrods?) before handing over a big wad of £20s. Obviously not a backroomer.

well done Edward. I've a car to sell but I'm baulking at the high prices Auto Trader are charging to advertise, they've gone up way above the rate of inflation. No doubt I'll have to bite the bullet, but it'd be great if some rival emerged who forced Autotrader to trim their prices.

It was £15 for two weeks on the internet which I think is cheaper than ebay (depends on the car value). Normally I trade cars in or sell them into my extended family, but this time we are down sizing to one car, one motorbike and one bicycle and no one in the family wanted it so I had to sell privately.
