  how do you know if the coolant system is blead correctly ? the heater is blowing hot and the bleed valve at the back of the engine has a little water coming out of it when you remove the screw but the valve near the thermostat has no water coming out except if you squeeze the pipe? i belive

  The main metal coolant pipe requires replacing as its cracked. Attached to this pipe is the radiator hose and a smaller hose from the expansion bottle. As the other end of the pipe attaches to the engine and is well hidden under the inlet manifold, I would like to know how accesible is this metal

  The coolant hose which connects the throttle body > heater matrix > cylinder head has a small split / hole in it. I replaced it a few years ago with a genuine VW part, which cost about £50, but its now leaking again. Is there anyway I can repair the hose instead of buying a new one for £50?

  Where is the coolant temp sender located on a K11 Nissan Micra? The Haynes manual seems to indicate that I should follow the radiator top hose back to the thermostat and the sender is located behind that on the engine block. Can't see any relevant wires, though. Is it located under the engine? I
