Can I charge my PHEV using an extension lead?
Will my Volvo XC60 battery charge if I connect it to an extension lead which is connected to a 4 plug extension in the garage?

You can charge a plug-in hybrid from a conventional domestic socket at a slow rate, but you should not use a conventional extension cable as this is potentially dangerous. We would advise purchasing a dedicated charging cable with sufficient length to reach a wall socket - we would suggest trying somewhere like www.evcableshop.co.uk/
