After an hour's googling in vain - can anyone advise where to find booking details of overnight accom. in motorway services in France? There don't seem to be the usual Accor chains there. Specifically, we hope to stay in the Clermont Ferrand section. Mr R would prefer not to leave the motorway -

My brother has a friend, who is a businessman. He and his wife both drive Mercedes diesels. He recently had cause to hire a car in France and chose a Picasso HDI. He was mightily impressed by it's handling, ride and engine, and is now wondering why he bothered to spend so much money on the Mercs. -

If you want E5 petrol in the UK, you have to buy super 98 at an increased cost of 10 pence per liter. Yet in France regular E5 is still available at most petrol stations at an increased cost of 4 pence per liter compared to E10. Why are we paying more for our petrol? -
