  . The battery is fine as all the lights are working. Car starts and runs fine just this issue. Read elsewhere might need to replace the instrument panel? Any pointers on how I can properly diagnose it & what the solution might be, thanks.

  to start it this morning the battery was very low and needed a jump start to get the engine running. The car is great except that every time I put the ignition on it warns me that it needs a service now. Does anyone know how I can reset this please? Regards.

  Thought i would post this up as i came across it at work today, had a 2009 octavia with the cooling fan coming on when engine turned off and ran until it flattened the battery, after lots of head scratching, it turned out to be water in the engine fuse box, stripped the fuse box and found all

  Due to a mishap and without comprehensive insurance I have rebuilt my Kawasaki ZX12R Model A1. It's now running beautifully BUT the battery is not charging.  It holds a charge and will jump start.  A lot of the parts I bought were 2nd hand, but I could not get a generator

  Focus 1.8 TDi coughs when starting. The colder it is the more it coughs and the longer it takes to start. Main agent diagosed bad battery but a new heavy duty Exide hasn't cured it. Glow plugs should take a total of 32 Amps. They appear to be taking 80. It suggests they are open circuit

  Hi...I erred on the side of caution, and had the cambelt on my Vauxall Movano 2001 van replaced.  I have only started the van three times since replacement, first time it was fine, second time it was difficult but eventually started after charging the battery, third time it was fine
