Ford Focus Air Con noise 16 Jul 2003 (Forum)
Is it normal for the electric radiator cooling fan to be running all the time when the Climate Control is on? The car is 2002 Focus 2 litre Ghia Automatic. This fan is extremely noisy and the car can be heard coming from quite a distance. Cheers for any info. -

Just got myself a VW Passat 1995 1.8 petrol. The manual says it should use 95 RON Premium unleaded. This confuses me as I think 95 RON petrol is standard unleaded, and Premium unleaded is 97 or 98 RON. Anyone got an answer on what I should run it on? -

Anyone know what causes my Omega 2.5 TD bmw engine not to rev smoothly. If i try to hold it at a steady speed in nuetral it rev up and down. Also the tickover will suddenly jump to 1500 rpm instead of running smoothly at 500rpm, a real problem with an automatic thanks -

l have a 2.0ltr 405, the problem l have is that when you rev the engine the revs stay high then gradually fall back to the correct idle level, the throttle cable isnt sticking, other than this the car runs fine, any advice other than burn it or sell it would be appreciated -

A colleague at work has a y-reg Vectra tdi, into which he pours 1 litre of oil/1000 miles !! There are no visible leaks. Is this a known problem - or is it, as the manufacturers are wont to say, "a feature" ?? I told him that at least he's running on mainly fresh oil all the time !! -
