BMW 1 Series E81/E87 (2004 - ) - 120D SE : 6000 mile ownership report 20 Oct 2007 (Forum)
paid a very reasonable £11700 retail, for a 2.5 years old which had covered 55k miles. I will start with the good bits? The 120D is a fantastic driver?s car, and that begins with the superb 163 bhp chain-cam engine which delivers a combination of performance, economy and refinement which would have -

The lost art of car salesmanship 30 May 2007 (Forum)
certainly had the right idea on last year's Apprentice but the two bozos (no naming or shaming unfortunately) at a MINI and at a Ford dealership somewhere in the North West of England would have been fired by Sir Alan in the warm-up. I tried to p/x my Touran for an S-max earlier this year. The "salesman -
No fun. 8 Jan 2019 (Forum)
As a salesman in the 90’s and as the son of a parent who loved buying cars I remember the feeling of picking up and delivering cars when we had an annual plate change. I was against it when the twice a year change was first suggested but the trade were in support as they believed it would spread -

800 miles, but it has been laid up in a car park (secure, work) in the recent snow for about 3 weeks while I was out of the country. I come back and notice a knocking sound from the rear d/s wheel. Probably just a bit of rust thinks I, but it can't be got rid of on the drive home. Dropped -
