What's the best automatic car for a new driver?
My daughter has just passed her automatic test. With a budget of up to £8k what car is safest, cheapest to run/insure and most reliable?

You can read our guide to the best cars for new drivers here - www.honestjohn.co.uk/guides/best-first-car/ but from this list we would recommend looking at the Hyundai i10, Kia Picanto and Toyota Yaris, which you should find plenty of examples of within your budget.
