  I had a job on a car where I removed the ignition key form the car and the ignition light stayed on, I disconnected the battery, but couldn't find the fault. Has anyone got any idea what could be wrong with this car as I am totally baffled!

  Hi, bought the car few months ago. I have no idea what the radio code is, how can I find out? Reason I ask is looking at getting a towbar fitted and want to be sure in case they have to disconect the battery to do the electrics? thanks, Jason.

   hi changed rocker cover (valve) gasket on my rover 416 sli, disconnected battery to do it and spark leads now won't start, just clicking noises immobiliser lights off so not that! help! thanks :)

  When you have had the battery off for half hour and then run the engine for 20 - 30 mins at idle - Is it important to switch off then take it for a run or can it just be taken for a run after idle without switching off? thanks for any advice

  Can anybody help my cooling fan is not coming on and the water is boiling, the motor on the fan is ok as it works when a wire is put from the battery to the motor, we have changed the temperature sender but still not working any help would be appreciated.

  Hi there, does anyone know how to reprogram my key fob with the car? I've got 2 fobs, one works now and again and the other not at all. It's not the batteries and the signal from the fobs appear to be strong. Thanks.

  Hi my ford has been left for a while, and now won't start. I have changed the battery and have the starter motor looked at and reconditioned, but none of that has worked. Does anyone know if there is anything else I can try???

  Hi I have a problem with my central locking using the remote control in the key. some times it will open other times I have to do it several times before it will open. It's an 02 2lt five door. I have changed the battery.

  Hello All, Anyone got any tips for getting radio codes? (ie not paying Citroen Dealer £25!) Disconnected the battery whilst welding at the weekend and can't find the code anywhere. Must be a cheap or even free way of getting the code for your own stereo!??? Thanks Maceman

  my 53 reg 1.6 5 door match golf. the re mote central locking will not work unless within 6 inches of a window i,ve tried the obvious by replacing the batteries in both remotes but it doesn,t make any difference. over to you screwloose!

  The brake lights on my 04 Arosa come on by themselves, usually at night, this morning I came to start the car a the battery was flat, my wife told me they were on when she went to work. I have looked at the brake light switch and give it a squirt of WD40. Anybody any other ideas?

  what the!didnt even know it had one!battery went flat now the alarm????seems to have armed itself.setting off the horn beep beep beep.havent ever had a handset fob.is there any way of disarming it or disabling it.please help before i put a match to it! thanks, bunny
