  running on idle, in neutral, I can still hear it, but if I then press the clutch down, the noise disappears. It seems to be from the front of the car, but closer to us than the engine. The source seems to be between the cabin and the engine, as if from behind the dashboard, like behind the radio

  ....well I know what I wanted to say but it didn't come out quite right. I personally hate any kind of radio, CD, cassette etc music when I'm driving. For some reason I find it incredibly annoying, especially radio-talk with the damn commercials every 3.3 minutes for shampoos or intimate feminine

  Last week my wifes megane's radio stopped working, i finally got round to checking the fuses on the weekend, but all were fine. I noticed that the centre dash display back light doesnt go out, its been staying on all nite and day. Im wondering if its the bsi unit thats at fault? Any ideas?
