I just changed the coolant temperature gauge on my car and it made the temp. needle work again. Yay me. I'd already replaced the thermostat but that didn't fix the problem and, thanks to Haynes and some help from this forum, I managed to successfully flush the rad/engine block, replace the coolant -

I have had a w reg merc c200 for about 6 months (diesel)and the service record says it was serviced about a year ago. I have changed the engine oil but the service indicator has remained inactive. Anyone any thoughts on this?. -

Some sort of reservoir on my Phase 1 Laguna. It sits behind the offside headlight next to the screenwash. There's a pipe that connects to the back ot the engine, and a couple of either switches or sensors. Also , might have overfilled at oil change - does this matter too much? -
