peugeot expert 2 l 2001 diesel - trouble starting and cutting out when driving (mo - kumala

only just bought the van and have trouble starting it ( i leave for a while while the plug things get warm) then it cuts out whilst im driving (moving) had it to the garage who changed the fuel filter, on machine but showed no faults. should i change the oil filter? any suggestions, please help

When it cuts out do you lose all electrics, and does the clock and radio reset?

You might be better getting a better diagnostic, one that can read live engine data and tell you your values against reference ones.
