Carry on doing what you are doing,I have never known anyone to cure it.
even on company cars that do high mileages

Are you using best quality oil steve?

I don't think the quality of the oil comes into it. "Mayonaise" in the rocker cover is caused by condensation, which is caused by insufficient heat and poor ventilation.
I remember the advice on some BMC engines of long ago was to increase the size of the crankcase ventilation restrictor hole, to improve the crankcase breathing.
Is the engine running at its proper temperature? Is there a hotter thermostat option?
Might it be possible to fit some kind of shield so that more exhaust heat is ducted over the top of the engine?

I agree with Cliff, over the years I have seen people use different quality oils, but have all had the same problem,so I can only repeat what I said before.

Another thing is Mineral Engine Oils does that when not fully heated up as there are build up of condensation in the oil, using Synthetic have no 'mayo' effects.

Agree with Steve. Cleared son's 1.1 Fiesta breathers last week (after 12 months usefrom prior clean) and nearly blocked. Using Castrol high mileage oil.. used Texaco before.. Made no difference.
Just drive it hard up hills or fit a 92C thermostat...
