Fantastic economy with plenty of power.

I bought this car based on my own research with thanks to the HonestJohn reviews among other sources. I was looking for a nice level car in terms of comfort and spec as the 'work car' for the daily grind as we're both 30km+ from our workplaces. It is my first VW after driving mostly Ford Focus' for many years.

Although I knew the car was 140bhp on purchase I wasn't expecting the level of power to be so outstanding, also I now feel I get the fuss about VW Golf, I find it a beautiful, smooth drive. I'm also amazed about how economic the car can be when used for regular long motorway driving and feel the level of Power in this model coupled with the high economy attainable makes it a highly recommendable Golf Model.

As per the high level of faults highlighted in the HonestJohn reviews be sure to do your homework and buy from a reliable dealer.
