DO NOT BUY IN BLACK - but it's great otherwise.

I bought my black Golf in September, used with 28,900 miles on it. it's a wonderful car to own, and very economical. however it suffers from 1 major car breaking flaw. the roof suffers from a design fault that causes dents in the roof on very hot days, namely 24 Degrees Celsius upwards. it causes about 6 straight line dents that cross the roof around the insulation, the central roof support and the rear insulation. Any attempts to repair it have failed, since the dents return after a few weeks.

I'm selling off to get an new car. this Mk6 has put me off the used market for good.

It seems that the light coloured models do not suffer from this issue.

The dealership that I went to did not take responsibility for the damage that was caused and abruptly closed shop invalidating my 6 month warranty on the car. This car was purchased in Cyprus.
