Vauxhall Insignia (2008 - 2017)
SRi VX-Line 2.0 CDTi (160ps) 4dr
Could be better!
Amazing looking car in SRi Vx Line form, the Insignia is a work of art, underrated in my opinion. Very stylish car.
Very nice to drive, plenty of power and reasonably economical for size and weight. Running costs (when its running correctly!) are OK, reasonable tax and insurance.
Very spacious interior and very comfortable, lots of equipment on all models, and a massive boot.
I bought this car used but it had very low mileage for age (60K) and full history, so now on to the downsides - despite all this, the car has costs me lots in repairs bills, and I have not done much mileage in the last few years (15K), but so far its needed all this fixed - broken turbo, turbo pipe, coolant and oil leaks, clutch and flywheel, gearbox, DPF, etc etc the list is almost endless! It just go through its MOT well enough but now there are other noises and things going wrong.
Could have been a great car if more reliable. Not recommended, go for a Mondeo or Avensis!
