Bought my Auris 1.33 TR in October 2009 to replace a 2006 Corolla 1.4.
The Auris is noticeably more roomy than the Corolla, both in terms of passenger and luggage space. Little difference performance wise between the two. Economy: around Birmingham City up to 37mpg; up to 48mpg on a run (two people aboard, seats folded down and full load of luggage).Good six speed gearbox. Stop/start operates seamlessly in traffic. Only 'issue' in three years was the passenger cup holder breaking - replaced under warranty.
Replaced in October 2012 with a second new Auris 1.33.
