Suzuki SX4 S-Cross (2013 - 2021)
SZ3 1.6 petrol
Pretty good overall
Bought privately, manual, 5 spd, 73k, preferred the bland SZ3 as it has twisty knobs for fan/heater and no touch screen nonsense as I'm old skool, reliable enough seeing as the last owner had changed discs and pads, 4 new tyres (2 winters), new exhaust, serviced and MOT'd for a year, drive about 150 miles a week at 50-60mph on A road due to road and traffic and about 30% of my miles are done in town and averaged over last 4 months 52.3mpg, pretty good for a 1.6 petrol and it's nippy enough when you drop it down to 3rd at 50mph to get past traffic or just cruise by in 4th if plenty time to do it, in fact, it's quite quick when revved high, sits at 60mph in 5th at approx 2350 rpm so not screaming down the road on a journey, also I sprayed the front, rear and side skid plates to make it look more like the SZ4 model, overall a good car, plenty space inside, wind noise wasn't too bad in this one as a previous 65 plate one I had took a lot of investigating and 'fixes' to reduce the noise coming from the rubber seals around the small triangle bit of glass in the front doors plus the rubber seals around the top of the doors, didn't need to do it on this one, seems the rubbers can get 'soft' and flexible hence the vacuum pressure from outside v inside can cause this noise to get louder in some of them
