Practical but has niggles

I haven't had my scenic for long, I brought it due to expecting in February and my Clio sport was not a practical mummy's car. I love the space and find it easy to drive especially going from a small car that you can throw around. I found it hard to go from a diesel at 57mpg to this which averages at 33mpg
I brought my 2004 plate with 48k and full service history and had a service on purchase, however I found the car would not start first time especially if it rained and I would hear the sound of running water coming from the radiator when going round corners. I also found the car was a little gutless.
Also it would not heat or cool the car unless on number three which meant you had to constantly go from hot to cold as I couldn't keep it on a steady number to keep the car warm.

Unfortunately my scenic has been hit whilst parked up by a drink driver so is currently being assessed as to whether it can be fixed and I do really miss it actually. I would recommend the car to a friend but would tell them to check for little niggles before buying.
