Worst car I've ever owned with terrible build quality and reliability
The design and drive of this car is fine but it's reliability is awful. A quick Internet search shows the same issues cropping up time and time again. There are fundamental design and quality issues with this car and Renault will not address these problems. Problems include windows regulators breaking, injector faults, leaking air con, air con system freezing, turbo failure (at 69K), EGR valve sticking, various electrical faults and, finally, the big end bearings have failed at 98K miles.
My advice is to avoid the Renault 1.5Dci like the plague and the rest of the car isn't much better so I wouldn't touch that either.
This was the first and last Renault I will ever buy.
