Mercedes-Benz E-Class (2016 - 2023)
E350e 2.0 AMG Line Premium Plus Auto 4dr Saloon
Such a massive disappointment
I bought this MB E350e because I wanted first and foremost reliability, followed by comfort, high tech and zero emissions in town. Having previously owned BMW and Jaguar this was my first (and last) venture with Mercedes. First the car was plush, wonderful interioir this is true. It was very comfortable. However, the first disappointment was the battery range - MB claim 19 miles - I found that by not having any of the expensive options switched on like air conditioning, audio, etc I could just get to work and back - 9 miles! But in the summer the car is hot and unpleasant if you cannot have the air conditioning on - sort of defeats the object. But then the real problems started - engine warning light came on in April, over to dealers, 4 days off the road, fitted new thermostat. June engine warning light on again over to dealers - sensor indicated it had been -48 degrees so new sensor fitted - 5 days later the warning light has come on again and I cannot cope with an unreliable car. This one has to go and I will lose a huge amount of money simply because MB made a car that does not work. My advice is to keep well away - such a massive disappointment
