Mazda 3 (2014 - 2019)
2.0 120ps Sport Nav 5dr Hatchback
The Mazda 3 is a pleasure to drive.
The car is very well built. It is clear that the designers work as a team, with each department aware of what the others are doing, so that every detail of the car contributes to the overall concept. The engine could do with a little more power, especially when fully laden and going up steep hills. Under most conditions it is more than adequate however. Steering and suspension are smooth and well-judged, though there is some road noise on rough surfaces. The boot, despite its lowish VDA has more usable space than many of its rivals, partly because there is no underfloor storage included in the measurement. SatNav and other controls are easy and safe to use, because of the manual, central controller switches and the two high level screens. The car is beautiful. I look forward to driving it every day.
