Overall reliability

fast,sporty,slick gear change,reliable

i bought this car from my sister, having had the chance during her 12 months ownership to give it a really good
trial.
it has an excellent 2 litre engine, willing and sporty coupled with a very slick gearbox.
i'm sure the six speeds help fuel economy although the top ratios are really only good for motorway
driving.
car is well finished with attractive high black gloss interior finishing, space is a little limited
for larger people in the rear, but front seats are comfortable and supportive.
overall interior cubby holes etc are a little limited,as indeed is boot space
parking can be a little hit and miss(excuse the pun) but from the drivers seat neither
front nor rear of vehicle is easily visible but rear parking sensors help.
the car has only covered 15000 miles but has proved totally reliable and
well put together, it is also relatively fuel efficient averaging 40 mpg in mainly
city driving with occasional longer jaunts.
the only criticism i would make of it is that though the power steering is good
it is possibly a little to light and unengaging (though this is common i my
experience with modern electronic power steering)
overall i rate this car 4.5/5,it is enjoyable to drive and is probably the closest
i'll get to an mx5- but with better load capacity
