Land Rover Discovery Sport (2015 on)
2.0 D180 HSE Auto 7Seat 5dr
Overall very pleased, would get one again
I tried several cars before buying this, BMW, MAZDA, NISSAN, AUDI and a couple more, hated the seat position in the Beemer, so looked at the Evoque and the Disco Sport, the Evoque was nice as it was more Range Roverish but a lack of space, tried the Disco and were delighted with the drive and space plus it can be a seven seater, we’re happy with the mpg and I think the max quoted of 57 mpg is a joke, must be going down hill with the engine switched off but all manufacturers quote totally unobtainable mpg on their cars but considering that when I started driving I did well to get 24mpg out of a 1.6 engine and much slower than the Disco, there’s always going to be an annoying bit and for me it’s the oil dilution as a part of the exhaust doesn’t get hot enough which is a design fault but all that means is a shorter time between oil changes which isn’t a bad thing for the engine.
As for the ride which we find very good, it’s quiet and smooth and were on the 20” wheels, would I buy one again, yes most certainly would but I’ve had more Landrovers than any other brand so I guess I’m quite keen on them
