Love love love it!

I needed a car, and quick. It had to meet a certain spec...good mpg, reliable, low tax and with a boot big enough for my dog crate! I'd checked out a few different cars and spotted the Venga, I was amazed when I tried the boot space, plus it's a flat loading area with storage under the floor!

I read the reviews and this left me slightly uncertain, but needs must and I bought one. I am so glad I did. I've only had it a short while (11 days) but I've done 700 miles in it and love it. From the comfortable height adjustable seats complete with arm rest, to the sliding back seat to give my dog crate even more room.

The engine is quiet, it's perky on the flat, but I may give my steep short cut over the mountain a miss from now on as it was a little hairy in a car which didn't quite have enough power in it.

Travelling to work though along rural, A roads and B roads is a dream and I'm delighted to say that I'm achieving 52 to 55 mpg (that's my calculation based on fuel v miles and not the word of the computer). Some people say they find the gear selector a bit notchy...I find it great and love having the 6th gear to slip in to.

The bluetooth connection to the phone is a bit disappointing, it will pair but won't function correctly. From my understanding, my newish phone isn't compatible with it. I can live with that as I believe if you want to talk on the phone, then pull up and park. The radio and CD are great though.

Controls are all handy and the dash board is extremely clear.

There were also negative comments about the plastics and comfort....not really sure where they were coming from as the plastics are fine, the cabin is nicely finished off and the comfort is smashing for my 64 miles per day commute.

So all in all, I love it and even better, the dogs do too!!
