Kona electric is marvelous, fast, frugal, fully featured

I have had ICE vehicles all my life, diesels, petrol & LPG, from Ford escorts to Seat Exeo and from Kia Soul to Soda Fabia vRS

I was worried about my Kona being slow, it isn't and will go 0-60 in under 8 secs.

I was worried I would run out of charge, well taking it easy in summer I get 300 miles easily and as high as 350 miles to a full charge.

I was worried about being unable to charge on the road, well it takes 45mins and I find it a easy to locate free stations using charge apps, especially when visiting Scotland.

I was worried it would be "bland", well it's bright blue with a Porsche like front and I would describe it as a kind of exotic parrot.

In a nut shell I have had one fault in 2 years, with the self drive camera...nothing to do with being an electric, just a standard across the Hyundai range item. Fuel cost are ridiculously low, as I am still on octopus Go in 2023 and paying c 7.5p pkwh overnight.
Service costs are a fraction of ICE as less moving parts.

I love my car and will only consider swapping for the new model due in September 2023..
