Cheap, roomy and reliable.
Initial teething troubles with a new alternator needed, rumbling rear wheel bearing and a leaking radiator fill up tank - didn't cost much to fix
After that, has been utterly reliable. Cheap to run, good on petrol and bags of space inside. Have actually fitted a welsh dresser in it at one stage!
Insurance is cheap and tax is not dear.
Due to the boxy shape, its not attractive to car thieves. Will cruise all day at 70 but you can easily take it up to 90+ if that's your bag.
Plenty of franchised dealers fighting for your custom so parts are cheap and so is servicing - a good rugged family car.
