Very poor example of a car.

I bought my focus last year with 42000 miles on the clock after trading in my volvo. After a few weeks the front bearings went which were replaced on the extended warranty i had purchased. The paint then started peeling off round the arches and under sills. This was resprayed by the garage after many complaints. This lasted 3 weeks and had started again. The rear bearings went 6 months later and again had to be replaced.

Then the car then started misfiring/stuttering. On examination the garage told me that the spark plugs/ht leads/coil pack were badly damaged by water leaking from the washer jets, This is apparently a common fault which rusts the plugs to the block. Mine are refusing to come out which will lead to them snapping. This apparently is very common on this model. This will mean the head being taken off and refurbished at my own expense as this isnt covered by ford warranty. We are now moving away from ford as we have had several fords and experienced nothing but problems from them.
