Ford C-MAX (2010 - 2019)
2.0 TDCi 150ps Titanium X Start+Stop 5dr Medium MPV
Good all rounder
This is my third C Max and the most powerful. However the previous 62 plate 1.6 diesel felt better put together and overall more refined. Some of the year model improvements such as the touch screen feel like backward steps, sometimes it takes ages for the radio to turn on!
In the 'top of the range' you get an electrically adjustable drivers seat, this is a real 'pain in the seat area' as it has no memory and if my wife drives the car I take ages to adjust the seat back to a good position - far less trouble with a manual adjustment as you go back as far as possible and then forward one click - you have no idea with the electric adjustment - FORD - PLEASE either sc*** the electric seat or add a memory function.
On a positive note the car drives and handles well.
Another gripe, linked to the above reference to the reg 62 model is that cost savings on the later car seem to have been made on sound proofing - the doors feel more tinny, I am not sure I would go for a 4th C max - as previous reports have stated it feels a little left behind by the competition.
