A practical and comfortable car

I bought this car used with one previous owner and 37k miles on it and now it is approaching 60k, 18 months later.

On the whole it has been very reliable, with no nasty surprises while on the road, although a few required jobs spotted during routine services. I had to replace both the front brakes (at 45k) and replace the head gasket at (56k). According to the local mechanic, this is a common problem with citroen C4s of this age - and they subsequently have redesigned the part for the facelift model!

Inside, the car is comfortable and nicely laid out. The boot is a good size. The dashboard and steering wheel design wont be to everyone's taste but looks modern and uncluttered.

On the road, its comfortable but unexciting. Slow to pull away but confident at motorway speeds and about town driving.
