Used-car warranties - Roger Jones
I am about to renew the RAC Signature Used Car warranty on my M-B E320 Coupe, but before I do I thought I'd ask whether there are any other schemes worth considering. I have called on the RAC warranty on several occasions over the past two years (two different cars, same model) and it seems to be a reasonable scheme. I guess the key thing is whether it omits items that other schemes cover. I can't go into such details here, but would be grateful for any insights into this whole scene. The renewal quotation is £469, which seems a lot at first sight, but perhaps is not unreasonable considering the car and the fact that the cost is only £9 a week for peace of mind.
