  Can a battery conditioner be used on a Citroen Xsara 2.0HDi without disconnectiong the battery. If the battery is disconnected to bring it indoors to use with the battery conditioner, is there likely to be any problem with the codes for the key, radio etc.?

  I have a 5 series E39 with factory fitted sat/nav and tv and wondered if anyone has experienced intermittent sound loss with a similar system. The sound goes completely from all sources, ie radio, cd, tv or whatever you happen to be enjoying ! Sometimes turning the stereo off and back on again
