Really as the title suggests, im after an oil extractor that will fit throught the dipstick tube to remove the engine oil. The reason for this is although the car has been regularly serviced by the same garage for six years (with annual oil changes) they used the extraction method, and the sump

  • Black oil o in Diesel engines 17 Nov 2001 (Forum)
What is so different about the combustion process in the cylinfder of a diesel engine that turns oil black after very little use. Even in brand new diesels the oil seem to go black very rapidly. Does this affect lubrication, ? why doesnt the filter pick it up. Should oil be changed MORE frequwently

HJ I see that you strongly recommend Millers Oil. As a result of your advice I use their Diesel Additive with every fill. Why do you recommend their oil as opposed to other brands? I have recently purchased a 1.9TD 306 Peugot with 40K miles. As with all my cars I shall change oil every 5K. What
