  The EU fuel figures are ridiculous. However the U.S. government publishes figures which are much more realistic, and compare well with the honestjohn realmpg website. Look on www.fueleconomy.gov . You need to multiply everything by 1.25 to correct

  Moving on from the onboard mpg thread how can we sure that we are actually receiving the fuel we have paid for ?. Are the pumps checked on a regular basis ?, are they checked by an independant authority ?. Has anyone actualy filled a container and checked for themselves.
