Hi Im back after 18 months absence and will shortly re-inherit the PUG 306 I built up and it has issues. Apart from number one son driving into a river in Queensland and filling the motor full of water he has had the spare fuel injector pump fitted, bent rims, had serious fuel problems etc and I am about to get the car back.
My first concern is to find out why the fuel bowl has to be used to pump the fuel up after standing overnight. I guess its draining back or that the fuel system has air leaks.
WHEN ITS STARTS THERE IS BIG CLOUD OF GREY SMOKE.
SO its what over fueled.
Anyway I am going to try to get it back to the way it was 18 months ago.
Any help would be appreciated.
