wheel alignment, the result was front wheels ok, but back wheels out: left rear 0.6mm (spec range 1.75 - 2.75mm) and right rear 0.1mm (same range). But they are none adjustable therefore will be like that for eva unless new parts fitted. Cant understand how this could happen? They said could be due -
BMW Steering/Suspension Alignment 25 Oct 2005 (Forum)
£26000 machine but this would cost me a lot more money and the rear wheel alignment on my car is not adjustable anyway. They said that if the tyres are wearing OK there's nothing to worry about. So I now have four new 225/60R15-V Continental Eco CP tyres balanced & fitted, with steering & front -

Skoda Octavia Estate - Main Dealer 14 Nov 2021 (Forum)
of history to find that spark plugs had been replaced last year by another main dealer who had maintained the car from new(I have owned it for one year). I rang the dealer to query. They stated that the work was not listed with the records of Skoda uk. Surely you would think the records would align but alas -

Audi - Paint issue - insurance or repairer? 25 Jul 2018 (Forum)
door where it meets the wing is now starting to peel away showing rust underneath - either not finished correctly at the join, or there is also a rubber strip inside the wing which seems to be slightly askew and perhaps wasn't aligned properly and has been rubbing on the edge of the door when it opens -

Vauxhall Astra Sporthatch - Reversed out of the driveway but driver side...? 18 Sep 2014 (Forum)
and rear) of the tyres ended up backed out from the driveway kerb then pavement kerb which I'm worried if I damaged the car tyre or suspension/car/alignment/steering wheel. When I had backed out from the kerb my car bounced hard as it was leaving from the kerb to the tarmac -

Any - Do three door cars have bigger front doors? 23 Jan 2013 (Forum)
or is this really the case? If this is the case then does Ford have to build different shells for the cars as the pillar will be aligned differently depending on the number of doors the car has? Is it just the Ford Focus that has different sized front doors who do other manufacturers do the same -
MOTs 5 Mar 2009 (Forum)
on light alignment and again got a fail and then a pass (even though aim adjusted for free, presumably whilst doing test). It's no skin off my nose and no qualms with the garage, just interested whether garages are audited on MOT pass/fails and so are looking for fails to put through. -
Peugeot 406 (1999 - 2004) - (99-04)2.2 petrol - ABS problem (UK car in Malawi) 19 Apr 2008 (Forum)
see any signs of grinding on discs etc and have already replaced ABS wheel sensors, ABS ECU and ABS unit plus replaced the servo (Which on this model is on LHS of bulkhead). The car had a minor accident some months ago but all seems aligned OK. We cannot u/stand why the ABS unit pulses at such slow -
Rover 400 (1995 - 1999) - (95-99) 1.6 16v - cam belt/timing. 26 Dec 2007 (Forum)
removed the belt and the cyl/head, thats when the sprockets span round!!!! knocking the timeing out of sequence. My Question is: when refitting the head is it just a case of aligning the lower camshaft sprocket timing to top dead centre (TDC) and then positioning the top two sprockets(exhaust and inlet -
Ford Dealer in USA 27 Sep 2007 (Forum)

Loose suspension ball joint $362 That would also need wheel alignment $125 Pollen filter $49 Dirty coolant $118 Brakes very low $230 so far I am thinking hmm... maybe that does need doing (except the pollen filter - for $49 I don't mind ingesting a bit -
Pothole warning - A3 slip at Tolworth 5 Mar 2007 (Forum)

Astra club - mysterious noise 1 Mar 2007 (Forum)

Another problem with me Merc 20 Jan 2006 (Forum)
the engine in mine is probably a heavy old lump but I've checked the fluid level, had new tyres fitted, a 4 wheel alignment at the main dealers and experimented with tyre pressures to no avail. The dealer has checked the car over, can't find any obvious faults and says that some cars will steer heavier than -
MKIV Golf front tyre wear 7 Oct 2004 (Forum)
is confined to the inside shoulders only.Surely the Camber angle would have to be miles out to wear only this part of the tyre . Pointed out to VW at first service but feedback was \"tyres legal, plenty of tread left.\" I was not convinced so had the alignment checked by an independant.Camber, toe setting -
Damage to door 19 Jun 2004 (Forum)
door, or will the other insurance company try to go with the cheapest option? Or can the existing door be sucessfully re-aligned after repair? The car is in extremely good condition, so I want it returned to its previous state. Any thoughts?
